Play Online PokerGold Club Casino

There's been a lot of talk on the message boards and forums on the net about the Gold Club Casino recently. Having only glanced at their software in the past, I thought I'd give them a closer look this time around, and I like what I see.

Their website is solid and contains a fair bit of information. Navigation is straightforward and their download process is a simple three-step procedure. Server speed was fair, and their four meg download is certainly reasonable. Installation was relatively simple, and getting started with the games was pretty easy.

Gold Club offers seventeen games in their complete software package... a somewhat small number, but all the classics were there; blackjack, roulette, video poker, slots, keno, caribbean poker and baccarat. Three clicks from the start screen and I was playing blackjack.

At first, I found that I simply could not win a hand. I started wagering the minimums, and my luck slowly increased. Moving to roulette, I had somewhat better luck at the wheel, and soon I was making money instead of losing it.

I found that the Gold Club's keno game was somewhat difficult to understand, and my luck there was poor, so I chose to avoid that and try the slots. Again I found that my bigger wagers were largely unsuccessful, so I kept to the cheaper slots and built my bankroll up.

The Club's fantastic graphics kept me interested in the games, and the ease of use helped to keep things rolling. I moved on to the video poker machines and, once again, found that my larger wagers were losing steadily, so I switched down to smaller bets and recouped my losses.

The Gold Club's support was very helpful. I placed a call to their support team and, after a brief wait on the lines, found their staff to be quite knowledgeable. They were at a loss to explain my lack of success with larger wagers, but I made the money back (and then some) in the end, so I suppose that's OK.

I would certainly suggest that you stay clear of the bigger bets at the Gold Club; for whatever reason, I just could not get a break with large wagers on the line. If you're looking to make just a little money and have a good time with software that is very clean and fun to play, the Gold Club Casino is a great choice.
